2009- Designed and currently implementing media exposure strategy for the XDS Credit Bureau Limited, Nigeria’s first licensed credit rating agency. Package includes communication enhancement training for staff, scheduling media visits and interviews, writing and distribution of news releases, conception, design, media buying and monitoring of advert copies and conception, design and production of newsletter
2008- Designed and produced one-week Training Curriculum for Health Advocacy in Nigeria for the Health Reform Foundation of Nigeria (HERFON)
2008- Edited Nigerian Health Review 2007 for HERFON
2008- Co-facilitated three-day training for the Nigerian Building and Roads Research Institute at Sango Ota, Ogun State. Provided training in speaking and listening skills, team building and conflict resolution for managers, and identifying and understanding the publics of an organization
2007– Facilitated the establishment of Journalists for Immunization Efficiency, a sub-group of journalists working for sustainable achievement of Nigeria’s Immunization targets in collaboration with the government agencies, funding partners and other stakeholders under the auspices of EU-Prime.
2007- Designed training module for Promoting Routine Immunization through Development Journalism for the EU-PRIME, a European Union collaboration vehicle for promoting reduction in Vaccines- Preventable Deaths among Nigerian Children. The outcome was a 4-day training held in Kaduna, Nigeria, in March 2007
2006- Designed visibility strategy for the EU-PRIME implemented from the Program Estimates (PE) two cycle. Assignment involved going round Nigeria’s six geo-political zones to collect data using FGD and IDI. The goal was to foster the Nigeria-EU partnership and increase EU visibility by positioning the EU brand appropriately in the minds of stakeholders especially the end users of its services and support. It is also to help increase immunization uptake and reduce Vaccines Preventable Deaths among Nigerian children.
2004-06- Designed and implemented a Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) strategy to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS issues and challenges to in- and out-of- school youth especially tertiary institution students, transport workers, long distance drivers and traders in Oyo and Osun states. This was done under the World Bank funded HAF 2 funding cycle of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA). The objective was to help mitigate the impact of the disease on the vulnerable population in those states by enhancing decision making ability of this group to accept that undertaking Voluntary Counselling and Confidential Testing is “hip”, help reduce stigma, and destroy myths about the disease.
2001-06 - Provided media and visibility strategies to the Oyo State Wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), a 36, 000-member strong association, to enable it have greater acceptability within the community and among its critical public. Projects evolved as a result of this were a resource centre, comprising a guest house, a library and kitchen for the use of both teachers and the general public. Media exposure was also provided for activities of the union and a video documentary was also produced.
2003- Worked in the campaign for re-election of the Governor of Oyo State by projecting his achievements through a media-mix to make constituents appreciate that the administration delivered more than it promised during previous electioneering
2000-02- Media consultant to the Nigeria Investment and Promotion Commission (NIPC) – designed and produced promotional materials to complement its efforts to attract Foreign Direct Investment
2000-01- Media consultant to Nigeria’s House of Representatives, National Assembly – Provided print media support to Hon. Ghali Na’aba, Speaker of the House.
1998-99- Consulted with the Association for Reproductive and Family Health to raise funds for completing its corporate headquarters. Services rendered included design, production, and distribution of communication, and held meetings to promote this with potential donors who included traditional chiefs, Obas, business captains and community leaders.
1996-97- Media consultant to the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (UNCHS) sponsored Sustainable Ibadan Project (SIP), under the Sustainable Cities Program. The contract included design and implementing strategies for enhancing visibility and community engagement. It also included:
- Services rendered included communication support for the SIP dissemination conference held at the D’Rovans Hotel, Ibadan;
- Part of contact team with various stakeholders, arranging coverage and reporting by the media; handled audio recording and transcription of proceedings.
- Participation in and providing technical support to various work groups set up to achieve the SIP objectives
- Worked with team to establish funding core group among philanthropists in Ibadan for community projects
- Participation as communication specialist to work-groups within communities that train such communities to identify needs, design projects, gather funds and materials and achieve their objectives
